One guitar. One voice.

Larry and Leigh met when Greenwood Lake Mayor Barbara Moore asked them to perform together for the 9/11 Memorial.  They have since performed at numerous venues in the area.

Larry Newcomb exudes a blues-infused sense of melody, harmony, and groove.  Says jazz guitar great Bucky Pizzarelli, “Larry is a masterful guitar player.”  He brings an exceptional degree of intuitive support and counterpoint both as an accompanist and a soloist.  Larry is a working NYC guitarist who spends much time at his Wah-Ta-Wah Park “get-away” in Greenwood Lake.  He leads the LN Jazz Quartet and runs the Guitar Program at Our Lady of Pompeii School, and he holds a PhD in Music from the University of Florida.  According to legendary guitarist Larry Lucie, “Newcomb manages to get a great sound consistently and that isn’t easy.”

Greenwood Lake resident Leigh Jonaitis sings jazz, blues, and swing that is at once soulful and elegant.  Her sound and style reflect her twenty-plus years of professional experience that began at a very early age.  She has performed with the all-female a cappella group Harmonytryx and the jazz ensemble Lance Hayward Singers in New York City.  She studied voice with Rosemary Russell and Joan Morris at the University of Michigan, where she earned a BFA in Musical Theatre.  She is Professor of English at Bergen Community College.
